Practical answers for South Florida events — sizing, delivery, and what to book.
Do you provide setup and delivery?
Yes. BLASK offers delivery, install, sound check or calibration, and strike across Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach. Setup & crew is quoted separately so rental vs. labor stays transparent.
What areas in South Florida do you cover?
We serve Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Hollywood, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and surrounding counties. Travel fees for distant venues appear in your quote before you confirm.
How many uplights for a ballroom vs outdoor tent?
A medium hotel ballroom usually needs 8–12 perimeter uplights. Outdoor tents and patios often need 8–16 IP-rated fixtures. Large galas scale to 16–24 — see the quantity guide on this page.
Battery vs wired uplights?
Battery units place quickly on columns and outdoor paths. Wired units suit long programs and saturated color washes.
Moving heads vs uplights?
Uplights beautify architecture. Moving heads add beam effects for dances and concerts — many clients use both.
Do you carry SABRANT outdoor uplights?
Yes — SABRANT wireless outdoor PARs are our owned outdoor uplighting option, priced per fixture with wireless DMX.
DMX programming included?
Static color looks are included with delivery. Custom shows and timecode can be quoted with a lighting designer.
Custom gobos / monograms?
Metal and glass custom gobos are available — order early for peak wedding weekends so fabrication clears before show day.
Truss lighting posts?
Moving heads on 6 ft truss posts are popular for stages and DJ setups — browse featured gear or stage packages.
Can BLASK operate lighting?
Yes — add crew for focus, programming, and show operation beyond rental-only.
